Filipino Pride// (throwback)

This is a very very late post, since i was in villa escudero last July and I'm only posting it when august is ending.
Back to the point; Villa Escudero is a resort and you can find it in Quezon. this post is titled as 'Filipino Pride' because if you visit their resort you can see how they embraced the filipino culture.
When you go there during weekends the Entrance fee will be 1,400 and if you go there during weekdays the entrance fee is 1,250

When we first got there they serve us welcome drinks, they said it was from a sugarcane and surprise surprise, it tasted like gulaman.

Our next stop is the museum there. No Pictures allowed so... Honestly, the museum was one of my favorite in the Villa that i visited. The preserved animals fascinated me, they look so cool. There were spiders, bugs, lions, carabao heads etc. It might smell bad but it was really interesting. When we got out we got to ride the carabao cart! At first i thought we were gonna ride IN a carabao, but turns out i was wrong.

when you're riding the carabao cart there are a filipina singing filipino folk songs and a guy playing the guitar really good.
My oldest brother and my sister tried the bamboo rafting, i also wanted to try it but I feel really scared since no one's going to paddle and the river is 30 feet deep.

There are pools there where you can swim but my papa doesn't want us to go swimming, I think the reason he doesn't want us to go swimming is he doesn't want us getting darker, and anyways i don't really know how to swim. I remember when i was in 5th grade we have an outing and i almost drowned because ONE i was stupid TWO i jumped in the 6 feet part of the pool and THREE I was stupid.
After that we ate lunch in this really cool artificial falls, It's so cool. The lunch is already part of the entrance fee you paid.

While you're eating lunch there are this little fish swimming by your feet. It's really cool eating with water splashing on your feet.

After eating lunch at the waterfall restaurant, we waited for their show, the employees danced all these filipino folk dance. It's cool to watch it and to know some of the dance that you've already performed and the other dances that is not familiar with you, dances that came from other places.
